Senseless

I just got a call from my sister, she's excited because she got approved for a low interest loan for 200k. I said, that's great, now come up with a good project for that. She said, no, I just want to take out a loan to build my credit. I'm shaking my head. How could anyone lack so much common sense!!? How does someone think it's a good idea to take out loan just for the sake of taking out a loan because she just found out she has good credit!!? She's lucky I was at work and in a cube farm, or I would have probably gone apeshit on her.
It would appear "Good Credit" is a dangerous thing for some people. Can we just have the government ban credit on certain people? They'll only hurt themselves with it.
