A Good Crunch
Next week is E3 so in a game programmer's world that means working your ass off to get a demo out. I really can't complain too much this year though...the working my ass off part hasn't been too horrible. We're currently in "waiting around" mode, which means I sit here and surf for smut...blog a little in between loading time.
Today has been a good day far as the LEGO Star Wars universe is concerned, Darth Vader was broken for a while there, and I managed to fix him. So he's back to his gleefully force choking LEGO StormTroopers until their head pops off.
I had sort of planned to go to E3 this year, but never really got around to booking a hotel room or arranging some kind of place to crash. I wasn't so sure I wanted to go that badly to be honest with you...not to mention I really do suck at planning. Then this dude, Ivan (so hot and genuinely sweet but so dumb) IM'd me asking if I was coming down because there will be so many sweet parties. I figured, eh, why not. Did a quick search of hotels and found out everything was booked to the teeth. I could not get a decent room for less than $300 a night. I figured I might not be going after all... Today, I remembered I actually have this thing called "friends". I sometimes forget that I wasn't always so much of a loner, and that back in my heydays I actually met a bunch of people. I emailed my buddy, Josh, whom I haven't spoken to in 4 years but currently lives in LA and he said to come on down. YAY!!! So, next week...E3.
